If you need some new music...

I would definitely recommend this CD by They Might be Giants. This is childrens music, but if you've ever heard They Might Be Giants before, then you know that they might have been making childrens music all along. All my kids love it, and it comes with a CD & DVD for $12.99 if you buy it on Amazon.com. In fact, here is the link: http://www.amazon.com/Here-Come-Bonus-Tracks-Video/dp/B000V5YOZ6/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1205790979&sr=1-4. We have two others by They Might Be Giants, "No" and "Here comes the ABC's" and they are both good too.

Guess who's 3?

No, it's not your friendly neighborhood Spiderman! Although he wishes he were! Isaac turned 3 on February 17th. See if you can guess the theme of the party (and his life). We watch one version of Spiderman nearly every day. He tries his hardest to spin webs and climb walls. Mostly he falls down a lot. He also avoids spiders, as he has seen how sick the spider bite made Peter Parker.

Isaac is so much fun! Everyone likes to play with him and he gets along with pretty much everyone. He is even tempered (most of the time) and so cute! Here is a conversation from earlier today:
Isaac: "Do we have a dog?"
Mom: "Nope."
Isaac: "Do we have any pets?"
Mom: "Nope."
Isaac: "Do we have lots of boys?"
Mom: "Yep, we have lots of boys at our house."

A couple of weeks ago I was running something over to a neighbor and Isaac wanted to come. I couldn't find his coat, so we put Max's big puffy down coat (picture A Christmas Story) on Isaac. Well, I should've seen this coming (I mentioned he falls a lot, right?) but as he stepped onto a big patch of ice on the neighbors driveway, his feet slipped out from under him and he landed flat on his back. I froze, waiting for his response. I couldn't really see his face from where I was standing and because of the big puffy hood. After a few seconds of silence and stillness I hear, "look at all the stars...and there's the moon!"
Happy Birthday Isaac!

Zachary's 1st Birthday!

Here are some cute pictures of the Birthday Boy.
He got a bounce & spin Zebra and some balloons, which were his favorite, along with the box the Zebra came in.
He is such a sweet boy and we love having him in our family.
Tyler, Aunt Daisy and cousin Caitlyn also celebrate their birthdays on January 31st, Happy Birthday to you all!

More pictures

Here are some recent photos of my cute boys. Isaac is modeling the insect glasses ('see how the world looks to a fly!'). Zachary is sporting a rice cereal face and also demonstrating how he has to have the spoon in his hand while being fed, which just means that we use at least 2 spoons every time he eats. It's also Zac in the swing. Maxwell loves the camera (or any audience really!) and keeps us all entertained.

My Three Sons

Couldn't have this blog sitting here completely blank! So here is a picture of my boys playing in our back yard.
